Using Userid in a post in the forums?

Is there a way to use the user's userid in a post in the forum? I want to put in a link in a post such as:

www.xyz.com/?member={userid} and have it draw upon the user's own userid to show up in that link so that the link is unique for everyone on the site and passes their userid when they click on it.

I did some searching here but couldn't find a topic on point or how this could be done in a post. I realize I could modify a template or put something in a PHP file but I'm just looking to do something in a single post.
