Can I upgrade my mysql db and convert it into the new vbulletin 4.0 db without completely upgrading it to the css new styles? I read that vbulletin will have a new db querying feature here...
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/blog.php?b=2376 I really want to make my forum faster but I don't want to change the styles of vbulletin. |

You can't only update part of your forum. You need to upgrade the whole site. You can then change your styles although I don't think it will be a very easy job to take a 3.8 style and make it work just right since so many things have changed (no more use of tables, for instance).
