Forum Icons for Sub Forums?

I want to have forum icons for sub forums and i have looked around and searched but can't seem to figure it out..

basically i have looked here..

Sofia have got very nice enhancement trick but it allows the forum icons only for "forums" not sub-forums.. and the vb built in prefix image thing gives status icons for forums again not sub-forums as it does not show in forum home for sub -forums..

Can anybody help/suggest anything about this? Appreciate your help!
