The link to communities is no longer active. Can you tell me where this link is controlled on the administration site?

Revert the navbar template and you will get it back.

PS. If you have a custom style ... then reverting is not a good idea. You will have to look at the xml file for the template you installed and copy the missing lines into navbar template.

Or, go to Edit your navbar, and click on View History > Compare to compare your navbar to the default Jelsoft one or click on Show Default to just see the default one.
