Hi All,

Well I hadn't seen this thread here but as it is, and seems active thought might be a good time to take advantage of it

I've been running a Mobile phone website for a few years now, it used to be called ku990.co.uk after the LG Viewty model number and as a result had a really strong user base supporting, hacking and general revolving around the handset. The site has "Threads: 16,446, Posts: 113,270, Members: 92,207" which is obviously pretty high however "Active Members: 2,742", and so this is why I'm here.

Of course I know that phone would gradually become obsolete so as a matter of strategy I evolved the website into general Mobile Phone Website. Luckily because of the connections I've made with LG and Nokia etc. I'm just getting into the positions where they're sending me handsets to review etc. so I'd really like to optimise the site to get the most out of it.

It's holding it's own and surprisingly we get as many visitors now as we always did but it takes a lot more effort from myself, writing articles keeping people interested. I do try and keep SEO in mind and have made many SEO related tweaks to the vbulletin install, and it performs well, but I'm be no means an expert in this department and of course could always do better

Well I have done a lot with the forum over the years, love vbulletin and have sampled many many mods and template edits etc. It would be great if you guys would take a look and give me some feedback. I work as a professional designer / developer and so I've got broad shoulders for criticism (bare in mind the sites "evolved" and so I'm sure is a bit of a frankenstein from what it used to be.)

The main website can be accessed via www.mygreatphone.com and the forum at www.mygreatphone.com/forum/ or if you prefer forums.mygreatphone.com.

There's also a mobile version of the forum at mobile.mygreatphone.com but it's pretty buggy.

Anyway would be great to get a critique going and hopefully you can give me some suggestions to improve and better my site for everybody. As I said the site has evolved through many version revisions and edits and so there may be fundamental issues which could be easily cleaned up. Also while I work professional as a des/dev, this isn't my job, I work on it an hour or two in the evenings where possible.
