how to change the timestamp?

i figure it's done with a phrase or something of that nature

whenever i insert this in a template [{$Shout['time']}]
i get just the date, not the time, i'd rather have just the time not the date
i remember originally the default was both time and date

where would i need to look to modify this setting?

Questions regarding modifications need to be asked in the modification thread. That is where the support for modifications is - not out here in the main forums.

but it's not for the modifications it's anywhere that 'time' is used within the vbulletin

and i already attempted to sift through the 250 pages of vbshout pages on the forum,
i just need to know where the option for 'time' is stored so i can change it back to default

Then you need to look up how the variable is defined. Time is usually stored as a unixtimestamp and then the variable gets changed to show the date, or date and time. You need to go find out what code was used and if you want it to show differently, then you need to change the code. If it is showing wrong in your default vbulletin functions, then you may want to check your settings in vboptions > date & time options and make sure those are set how you want them.
