I have been working on a forum for a while and while messing around I added a user I thought was a administratitor and turned an administrator to a register user. now I see the sdministrator only has limited use. any ideas what I should do would be very helpful

Load tools.php (in your do_not_upload folder) to your admincp and run it and set that person back to an administrator. Then remove tools.php again.
