Unable to Repair/Optimize Tables
Since we moved servers, we are now no longer able to repair and optimize tables within admin / maintenance.
This was a daily routine before but since the move, we cannot do this. Albeit I could go in and do it manually via cpanel. Any suggestions? Ste |

It should not be a daily routine. If you have to do it all the time, then something is wrong and you should fix what is wrong.

Thanks Lynne, I just got into the habit of doing this daily. When the forum was quiet.
Will check your link out thanks, my concern, is... when we click the link to repair/optimize we get zilch. Nothing happens, so even if we shouldnt be doing this "often" we should still be able to do it, appears something is awry Ste --------------- Added [DATE]1251321520[/DATE] at [TIME]1251321520[/TIME] --------------- *fixed* was Suhosin issue. |

As lynne already mentioned you should not do this on a daily basis as it could even corrupt your tables. You should only run this if an error indicates that there is corruption.
