Hi all first time poster,
here is what I am looking for; I have an HTML page that I will be adding to my VBCMPS, I would like the submit button to post the application to a Forum ID with specific questions from the application as the title. I know their are a bunch of form hacks, but I was trying to steer away from them, mainly because I was unable to get Easy forms to populate a dropdown box. If I could get that to work I would probably steer back away from the HTML application. IF any more information is needed, I would be happy to provide it! Thanks, -jb |

I can't help you with this as I'm unsure as to how the private message function works.
You want it to PM you an application with each question as a title, and each answer to the questions? |

No sir,
In my site I allow for people who are registered already on the board to fill out an application to join various things. Almost like a job application. After they hit submit I would like that application to be posted to a Forum so my other members can read them and reply if they like the application. |

Ohhh you want it posting to a forum. My understanding sucks today
(you're not the first thread). There's modifications out there that allow posting to a thread, i'll take a look at their functionality and reply back.

Check your private message. The functionality for creating a new thread should be there.
Looks like it uses datamanager_init, then do_set. |
