A Working Link Checker ? - The Holy Grail

I hope its ok to ask for help on this one in here ?

I have spent the last three days looking for a link checker that actually works, i have installed three so far, two were useless & the third one seemed to be the perfect solution until i ran it & it binned 99 threads because it didn't like megaupload & some of them were rapidshare links that were all live...

Can anyone at all tell me if they know of a link checker that actually works ?

I'm running 3.8.4 at the moment
