how do i add images/pictures with my categories?

hello

could anyone tell me how to add icons/images/pictures with my respective categories in my forum?

currently just like everyone, i have this "new" "old" "closed" icons for every category that are interchangible.
i wouldl ike to have it so that if it is a geographic category, i have a geography picture instead of these icons, if it is a cricket forum or category i have a cricket ball and bat picture showing instead of an icon.

how do i do that?
