Ok i want to make it so in certain forums I can hide the ability to see this.

Basically in a specific forum I only want people to see the sub forums and post in those subforums. but in other forums can post normally (basically a feature to hide the posting area in certain forums.

MAke it a category instead of a forum (Act as Forum = No).

yea but it goes all wierd like this, and it does it to all of my templates including the default one...

i dont want it to do that. phpBB, IPB, and many other forums treat it like a forum but when you have posting disabled it looks like how I want it to look. so why does it do this in vbulletin?
