Which Charset Type Should We Use After Changing The Database Encoding
Hello there I have an Arabic forum, & I've changed my database into utf-8, but after doing the conversion I found instead of Arabic latter question marks or strange characters, I think I should mention that the posts are still in arabic, but members names, and forums names were totally screwed. I tried to create a new style with no parent style, but the same problem still exists so I wonder whether I have to edit the language settings or add some meta tags in the templates, or in the php files???? waiting your help ******* update **** I noticed that even with my regular database (latine1 ) when I create a new language via admincp, and make it English. the Arabic letters in my whole forums become very strange even in posts and signatures |
