Background repeating behind posts

Hoping someone can help me with this. I'm working on a style, and the page background image i set repeats behind posts, see attachment.

Can anyone help me out here, css is not my strong point.

i would just like it to appear once, as it does for the rest of the forum

I'm assuming you've done this by changing the css of "Background" in the "Page Background" section of the stylemanager.

Could you paste the code you've entered into the box here and if you have done it another way, please tell me what you've done.

its in the page background (.page), the body background has a seperate background image

background: #cfc6b4 url(images/haj3/misc/bg.jpg) no-repeat

other than that, i've only changed colors, no other images, no template edits except header

Hmm... that is odd. If the template FORUMDISPLAY has not been changed, you could see if the code:

class="page"

Comes up multiple times in that template.

nope, no class="page" in forumdisplay
