$template_hook in newreply template?
Hey folks,
am I totally blind or isn't there a single template_hook in the newreply template? I'd like to add a dropdown box below the message area, but I couldn't find any hook I could use. Any hints? Oliver |

Your eyes are functioning just fine - there is no template hook in that template. You can either add a template hook of your own, just add the code, or do a search/replace to add your code.

thanks for your reply. Is there a reason for that fact? I'd like to avoid to manually edit the template, and rather do it with a plugin. What do you mean by "search/replace to add your code"? |

There is a thread over on vb.com where users ask for hooks to be placed in specific places in the code or templates. I'd guess there is no template hook there because no one has ever suggested it.

And... I just had a look into another plugin, and found an example of what you was referring to by saying "search/replace to add your code". Thanks a lot for the hint! |
