how to use image album for quick uploads.

i want to link to the album manager from the wysiwyg

i want to have a new button just above the smilies which when you click opens up a quick access to images in albums and allows a quick upload a la wordpress style

so a nice little popup box appears with small thumbs of all the images in your album plus different albums as folders etc with an "upload" button below and a browse button to specify which file to upload.

Can anyone help with this?
