Username gradient colors???/

Hi, I want to set it up so one usergroup has usernames that start out one color and gradually change and end up another color. I've seen a code that allows rainbow usernames but I can't find anything that will do gradient colors..

Can anyone help me with locating such a code?

Thanks in advance.
