Hiya,
I tried looking up this thread, which was a thread about vB Nexus, Facebook + Integration etc., and I only now get a Permissions Denial message. Has the thread been moved? Terminated? Extinguished with extreme prejudice? Thanks in advance for help. |

Due to problems in the past, we don't allow threads about 'future' products here. The author is welcome to post the modification as a 'beta' if he is wanting to get the kinks worked out.

Sorry to have made a hassle in asking about the thread, I just found it a very interesting one, but your explanation clarifies the whole context. |

I know IB own this forum, but this should have been posted on vB.com too if it's a venture of theirs... otherwise I see no reason for them to be exempt from the rules.

Nobody ever said they should be exempt from the rules.

A few weeks ago there were some forums visible that should not have been... permissions were being tinkered with or something... maybe that's when you saw the thread?

That wasn't here, that was on vb.com.

If IB owns vB and IB can't promote on here, isn't that a contradiction within itself?
And I've seen a few people advertise future skins and products in community reviews quite a few times. Apparently the rules here are up for interpretation - in a language IB can't even speak. Was this posted on vb.com as well? Anyone have the link? |
