Set rights from FTP?
Is there any way I can set rights (Admin, moderator, etc.) for users via FTP? I dont have the ability to view our forum, or log into the admincp from my work, but I can access our site via FTP. I need to make someone a moderator, but I can't get into admincp..... any ideas? Thanks

Thanks for the quick response
Well, how about change a users password. If I could change my password, I could let someone else change the rights, but I don't want anyone to know the current password, because its used in multiple places...? |

No data is actually stored in the files, it is all stored in the database. As mentioned by snakes, manipulation of the database can be achieved through phpMyAdmin.
