just wanted to know how to remove or edit the link/forum name text inside navbar block.

I believe its the Header template of the skin you want.

Its in vbulletin options under "forum name" isn't it?

The forum name itself is changed in vboptions, as Loget stated. The actual code for that block is in the navbar template. If all you want to do is change the name, then you would just do it in vboptions (vboptions > site info, I think).
