Image verification not showing on registration form.

It's my first question in here and I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, if not please correct me.

I'm sure that...
human verification is active and set the option "Image verification" (GD)
Into the vb options, human verification options, the "register box is checked.
Into vb options, "image configurations the "GD" option is checked.

But when I go to register form the verification image doesn't show up and spammers are giving me some extra work.

Can someone give me help please.

Yes it shows in the image testing and I have a mod called "invitation system" and it works there too, Before you send an invitation you need to type the letters from image and it is there working normally. It is just in the register the problem. That's why I got so confused, it works in everywhere but not where I really need it.

In the GD test image, is there also text visible?

If so:

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

If your problem still exists, please create a new Style with no Parent set. Now browse the forum using this new style, do you still have the same problems? If you are troubleshooting login or guest issues, you will need to set this style as board default in the vBulletin Options.

I will be honest. The last person in charge installed a lots of hacks and stuffs. I'm new on these things.
I'm just have time weekends, so I do not want you to spend your time for free. I'm gonna take the steeps you gave me cafefully at weekend and then I came back to post the results.

If you just could give me a tip about what the files and where to reupload the files I have to, I will be thankfull, I have a vb for testing and things are working fine in this vb test, so I can get the files from there.
