Email Various Categories?!?! - explaination inside! lol

I email my members quite a bit, most are thankfull, some 'check the box' to not recieve admin emails.

What I'd like, and I've looked and can't find anything, is a feature where I set the various types of emails I send as a 'check box' in the user profiles, so if I introduce a new forum, I can send an email to all those who want that sort of email, and if I send a random email, I email those who want random emails.

So if you could imagine email categories such as

- Forum Upgrade Related
- Sponsor Related Offer
- General Monthly News

and so on....

Any of you guys know how to do this, or if there is a modification for such a thing?
