hello, i rent a Vps but the site is to slow, funny is that the CPU either the memory its high. what make me believe that it is a database problen. there is some way i fix that? some script to show me the database errors? thanks.

ehh, when i had a vps with normal php i got temp file errors. now i host vB at home myself cos i have a static ip, on a custom built server (MS Server 2003 Standard) with a core 2 duo (my old cpu) with zend server, and havent gotten a single issue.

Run a top to see what is using resources.

Not to forget launching iostat / netstat never hurts to see if something it eating up disk or network resources slowing down things.

i have the same problem , my forum database size about 110 megabyte and i have Linux VPS Server 4000 visits/day always between 70 to 90 Active Users in the same time
what is the VPS specs which i can use |
