well i want to know if any1 can tell me how i can
protect my forum from bots my last forum failed becouse of it

please a little help?

Well, for many bots, you can create a robots.txt file and put it in the root directory of your server.

http://www.robotstxt.org/faq/prevent.html

Note that not ALL bots search for this file, though.

[EDIT] Unless you meant spambots. XD Sorry, wasn't even thinking about that.

Do you mean search bots from google, yahoo, etc., or spammer bots?

If the latter I'd HIGHLY recommend vbStopForumSpam.
