Hello,
sorry for my bad english, I'm Italian.

I really need your help! I'm trying to make a new graphic layout for my forum and I would like to have all my icons in PNG and not in GIF. So they will be transparent and easilier to adapt to my background.
Where do I have to change in the code the file extentions? Or is it a too hard work to do?
I've searched for any discussion about that but I couldn't find one. Would someone be willing to help me please?

You will need an image editor if you want to convert your gif to transparent png's.
Something like Photoshop. Changing file extensions wouldnt make it transparent.

I think I'm reading that Bucky does know that, but is wondering if vB would need to know this to link to a file.png vs file.gif. Trying to figure this out as well. Any pointers, would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Just rename your .png's to .gif. No changes in vB needed.
