3.8.2 Create gallery slideshows, and upload via FTP

I am looking for a mod that works like the NexGen gallery for Wordpress where I can upload photos via FTP to a folder, and then I can create a slideshow to embed into a post of all the images in that folder.

Is there anything like that for 3.8.2?
