How are forums that are using a license on two websites discovered?
I may have seen one, but how can I be sure that it is the same license? What is the penalty for this? |

Not sure how this works out but i feel the general rule of thumb is One licence = One forum Remembering that http://www.myforum.com is the same as http://myforum.com The only other legal way to have a second site and VB are very strict on this is that you can set up a test site, for your own use, and not being accessable to the general population. You won't get away with a "Test Site" with 15,000 members and 250,000 posts ![]() the penalty for having an unlicenced site would be severe, but this line of action is confidential, but would probably result in a take down notice to your site host as well as impending legal action. |

In addition to his they could have a domain that points to the same forums, and have certain boards available for viewing depending on what domain you come from.
