Are notifications private messages PM ?

My notifications are not working for iBProArcade.

Question:
"Notifications" in iBProArcade does mean Private Messages - right?
Or is "Notifcations" something else? Email?

My issue is that I am using Connect with Facebook. These PM's should show up in users Facebook accounts, but they do not.
So somehow the PM's delivered in ibProArcade are delivered to the inbox in a different way than when a user send another users a regular message.

Maybe ibProArcade uses some kind of "shortcut" to deliver the messages in the backend of the application.

Wonder if there is a way I can make ibProArcade send "real" messages.
