Application system and the CP
First, I want to add an application system to the CP. We already have it so it sends a PM to an admin because we use vB for an xbox 360 clan website. We want that application to go into a database set up in the CP for admins to view. So I want to know how to add a tab in the CP so this and how we could get the apps to send there?

I'm assuming "CP" means Admin CP. See the "cpnav_vbulletin.xml" file for file structure. Just duplicate this file, and edit it. Also keep the same naming scheme: cpnav_productname.xml

He just gave you how to create menu items in the CP, the rest would be a matter of storing data in the db and retrieving it where it needs to be displayed.

You will need to code that PHP yourself, or find someone to do it for you.
However, look at the similar threads. IIRC, the modification does not work correctly in 3.8, but with a little bit of work, you should be able to get it working. |
