I find one hour is sufficient. Anything less, and parents who are chasing after their kids come back to a logged out machine. Anything more is pretty much a waste.

The default 15 minutes has worked well for me for years.

i use have it set to 36xxx but it made my site Vere lagy and i didnt know who is online and who is not so ya 900/s now
