I offer two different subscriptions on my website. The purchase of either product gives that user access to that part of the forums depending on which product they purchased. The problem I am running into is if they sign up for both products they are not able to access both parts of the forums because the permissions for group A prevent you from accessing group B and vice versa. Anyone have any ideas how I could solve this problem other than forcing them to sign up for the other product under a new user?

Well, one solution would be to edit those user's access masks, giving them permission to whatever board(s) you allow them.
ACP -> users -> edit user -> edit access mask This isn't practical if you have a lot of users purchasing both, but might work as a temporary solution. |

AdminCP > Usergroup manager > "Select the usergroup you want to edit" > Usergroup Options > Allow Users to have Member Groups = YES
That should do the trick. . |
