Given that the chat network is no longer ran by an official member of vBulletin staff, perhaps it would be better to move it somewhere more neutral.

Floris if i'm not mistaken is no longer an employee at jelsoft. He stepped down (I could be mistaken) maybe somebody will correct me on this.

I think we will probably just remove the chat option as its not really used anyway.

Personally I cannot see what is wrong with it being provided by a member.

I think it'd be used a lot more if it were on a network aimed at computer users. My suggestion would be freenode, as you have the channels for PHP/MySQL and lots of web frameworks on there
