URL Change When Trying to Upgrade

Why is it that whenever I try to upgrade and go to

http://mysite.com/forum/install/upgrade.php ,

it redirects to

http://mysite.com/domains/mysite.com/html/forum/install/upgrade.php ?

My site is hosted on mediatemple if that helps. Thanks
