All browsers seem to render pages a little bit differently. All you can really do is look at the css affecting those lines and see if you can modify it so both browsers interpret it the same. (I have the same thing in some of my table lines in Safari.)

Thank you for your answer Lynne.
I did try to tweak the css code, but didn't affect the result. It's kind of weird though. Could it be a template issue? I say that because for example in this table on Safari I don't see the extra border line: I do see it though in this one: Of course i do notice now the same difference in vBulletin.org too! |

I notice it on my site when I use the tbody tag. It seems that tag has a border around it and they 'add' in Safari and 'intersect' in firefox. It doesn't bother me at all so I've never really looked into it.

You can see what your site looks like in every single browser available here
http://browsershots.org/ Just add your url and wait for the screen shots, you can tick the ones you want or all of them but remember they will take time to load, so you need to wait. As Lynne says, all browsers renger the sites differently, so bear that in mind. I generally do firefox and IE, anything else is minor on my site. |
