bbuserinfo in search_getnew_start

I need to check ia userfield in search_getnew_start.
Unfortunately, $bbuserinfo is empty.
How can I make this work? Is there no other way than to add a query to the search?

Awesome. Got it to work by using $vbulletin->userinfo['fieldX'].
