Hello, all!
I'm new to vBulletin and I have been wondering how I can go about tinkering around the control panel in order to get a custom style / theme. I am a coder at heart, which is why I have been reading books on HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, and a bit of PHP. I figure that if I ever want to learn how to do this, then I need to learn the essentials first. What I would love to be able to do is to create a custom style and template. I have been bookmarking some articles that are on here, but I haven't found a one-stop shop that has all the essentials in a step-by-step order. For instance, I found a thread that guides you on how to make a header for your forum. Which, IMO, is a lovely step-by-step guide, but is there a thread that recommends you where to start from the beginning? For instance, do you start with the header first, then the styles / template, then the footer? This is where I'm a bit confused, since I truly don't know where to begin. Thank you! |
