You continue to have this same problem and changing skins is not going to help if you aren't uploading the images to the correct place or you don't know how to change the image paths. Ask at the place where you got the style for help with where you should be uploading the images or how to change the path to correctly point to wherever you have uploaded them.

If it is happening with a default skin and you uploaded everything into the correct place, then I'd guess you don't have the permissions set correctly for either the images themselves or the folders the images are in. Try to view the image directly via url and see if you get a no permission error.
Is this your site - http://www.world-own.com/ ? If so, I see the images just fine so I don't know how you can say it is happening on all your skins. |

It would help to have a link to the site and for you to tell me what happened when you did my suggestion:

Look its simple: Your images need to be uploaded via FTP to your image folder in your root directory for your forum. Thats it thats all there is to it.

Sheryjutt,
here is a suggestion. Right click on one of the missing images, click on properties. In properties look up the URL of the image. For the statusicons it will be something like: "http://www.yoursite.com/forums/images/statusicons/icon.gif" (Yours of course will be different) Copy/paste the URL into your address bar and hit enter. Does the image show? If not, delete the image name and press enter. If you get a cannot be found page then you uploaded your images wrong. If you get a blank page that means the folder exists (but it won't show you the contents). Regardless, that folder is where your statusicon images should be, if they're not your forum won't display them. Just navigate to that folder via FTP and make sure your image is there and is spelled correctly (CASE SENSITIVE!!) Hahaha "bro". Sorry couldn't help it. :P |
