Banning a user between a certain time of day/night?
anyone know if this is possible?
a user has requested he/she is banned between working hours lol. |

Hehe, that's kinda funny. I suppose you could write a scheduled task to change them into the banned usergroup and run it at 9 and at 5. I'm not really sure - I don't think I've ever seen anyone request this before.

Interesting, thanks lynne, its actually between 10PM and 6AM when they are having a bevvywhy can't pc's be fitted with breathalysers lol

Make a copy of a scheduled task file and replace the meat of the file with a query that changes the usergroup for the two users from x to y. Then copy that task and change the query to move them from y to x. Then create a Scheduled Task and run the first one at 10pm and then second one at 6am.

While Scheduled tasks will work the fact they don't always run at the exact time you specify made me think there was a better way to implement this-
