why, the "more" in smilies has 3 lines... when i want to compose PM?

See if you have all those lines in a default style -
Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

If you do still have them, try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

You are using a totally default style with no modifications at all and you still have the error? If so, then the next thing to do is reupload your non-modified files.

I would have to say he just doesn't have the images uploaded. If you are using FireFox, the images do not show up as a [X], they are simply blank and transparent. Double check the path of those images and that they are there.
