Hello!

Problem: "I am on a shared server, on godaddy."
Solution: Go with an entry level host that is a bit friendlier to PHP & MySQL applications; there are plenty out there for less than $15 a month for good small-board hosting. In essence still a shared hosting environment but one that's better suited for your needs. |

HostGator is the best shared host I've ever used
Not sure if it still works, but back in the day, you could use the coupon code "jury" to get $9.94 off your first month...if you dont buy the smallest package they have |

I have always heard that they are good for domains but not good at all for hosting. Yesterday, I got a chance to test a dedicated server on godaddy, and all what I got were problems. It takes almost 1/2 hour for a database to setup and what not! I highly suggest to stay move away from them. |

If they are OK with you, then they are OK with us. You are the one who is going to notice the speed, or lack thereof, on your site.
