Anyone recommend a good optimization service?
Hey folks,
I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good vbulletin optimization service. Someone trustworthy who could repair, cleanup, and optimize an aging and modded vBulletin database. I've been getting some weird errors lately, and I know if I ask vB.com to help they'll just say they can't support modded boards. Any suggestions or advice is welcomed. Cheers, |

I recommend the services of http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com/
I have been a member there for a long time. And have always found the information very helpful. |

So it's specifically database errors, rather than general sluggishness? I'm sure if you posted the errors on here, people would be happy to help

Consider removing some of your Mods. Focus on those that get involved in the posting process, and items that may have similar features. Also go easy on anything that displays information from a module, such as featured photos or blog entries.
If you're unsure about removal, at least try deactivating each mod one-by-one and see what happens. Also try temporarily changing your site's theme to the default vbulletin style, and don't allow users to change it. |
