HTML Parsing In Posts and Titles
So I installed the mod that allows me to post html as admin (vb3.7.4) and it works great there's just one problem - after a while, when I go back to check an old thread that I added some html it just shows as html code.... i have to edit it and save it and boom it works...
Anyone have any idea why it would do that? Also, with the titles, I use prefixes for practically everything... is there way to put a hyphen between the prefix and a thread title... I did it on the browser page title but I guess in the db it self its still prefix and title... like when I see the threads in the feeds... Anyone have any recommendations? thanks in advance... nando |

Read the modification thread and post about the issue there and see if anyone has any ideas about it.
Regarding a hyphen between the prefix and thread title, you would have to modify the template to add that. To find the template - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source. |

I actuality already did the template edit for the title...
for example http://www.fatboymag.com/technology/...ted-2009-game/ the title has the hiphen between the prefix and the thread title but as you can see from the feeds, it doesn't... http://feeds2.feedburner.com/FatBoyMagazine-98 I'll post in the mod thread... thanks |
