Has the policy changed on call backs in mods?
I remember when Paul M. used them and there was quite a stink made over it. Are they allowed now? I asked because of this in the Live Topic thread:

They must state that their modification makes a call-back. That way the user knows and can decide if they want to install the mod or not.

And it must be very clear (i.e. in larger text/bolded/different colour) in the release post.

The rule is not specific to call-backs. Any hidden feature is not allowed. The user must know what the modification will be doing before installing it. So any "feature" must be communicated to the users prior to installation.
Obfuscated or encoded features are never allowed. |
