I am new to vbulletin as of a couple days ago. This site (vbulletin.org) has many non-forum features. I don't know how many addons are needed to make this site, but many of these things are what I want to do.

Is a "portal" addon part of this?

This layout with the tabs for Home, Forums, Articles, etc. is nice. How do I get it?

vBadvanced is probably the "best" and easiest Portal or CMS to use. Most of the addons on here are custom.

Just be sure to download a fresh copy of "vBadvanced CMPS" from the support site (http://www.vbadvanced.com) and not the copy here at vB.org since the copy here is an older version that is not compatible with the current version of vB.
