I hope this is the right place for this post. I honestly neglected my forum for a year. But recently decided to open it back up and just got it updated. My problem is that I'm getting a lot of spammers signing up and I'm not sure how best to stop this as I have been out of the loop for so long.
Do a search in the General vBulletin Discussions forum for "spam" in "titles only" and you'll find many threads about this exact issue and how different people deal with it.
Yeah I did that on this one and the .com site. Going to be a long long night of reading and testing I see lol. Because I am getting way to many people signing up daily.
Lots of people recommend the question/answer verification to stop bots. So, you might want to try that to at least slow them down while you figure out what else you want to do to stop them.
