Ive got this little tool which counts how many lines you have in your code. I tried it on vBulletin today. It said it had over 300,000 lines of code!

Hats off to you, thats alot of work lol

actually, your tool count the empty lines and the comments too...

there is at least 10 lines of comments in each file of vB... for the license. then a ton of comments to explain why this and why that...

but yes, there is a lot of lines of codes taken in the last 8 years...

Don't put them down, 300,000 lines of anything is impressive, comments or not.

300,000 lines of code for just a message board? That's not all that impressive to me, more so extensive.

There are a lot of empty lines in vBulletin, as well as comments... So as Nex said, that takes up a lot right there.
