How do you make it so specific membergroups ca not check posters' IP address?

All answers are appreciated.

Usergroup Manager > Select Group To Edit > Who's Online Permissions

Normally it is set to NO in the Registered User Group.

That is only for viewing IP addresses in the WOL. For IP addresses in posts, this is a moderator permission:

AdminCP -> Forums & Moderators -> Show All Moderators -> Edit Permissions.
