from the different sections on the forum index, ya know next to the section title it shows how many people are viewing that section... thanks

You can remove it from the forumdisplay_ templates (search for $show['browsers']) or perhaps write a plugin using the hook forumbit_display setting $show['browsers'] to 0 or false (not tested).

Actually the templates are the forumhome_forumbit_* templates.
