thx to Alex Hill for Signature Length Hack

is it possible to make somthing similar to limit the size of images
in signature or even in posts ?

why -
because of serverlimits we can not allow avatars..
and our boardies love the little images in signature ..
BUT some guys can't resist to use xl-sized images there ..

what I did was I got rid of html and the img code, then I made a new bbcode called [sig], and put this as the html it relpaced.

Code:

<img src="{param}" height="101" width="455">

This will make every image have the dimensions 455x101, but people will soon realize they need to make new sig images that will look good in those dimensions. If you would like to see what that looks like, then just look at my forums in my sig.

Hmmm... that's a pretty good idea. Smart thinking.

Now... I also want to restrict the NUMBER of images, and the size (as in kilobytes) that they are.... got any simple hacks for that?

You got me on the filesize, I would also like to know how to restrict it, but I haven't really had any problem with the number of images.
