One of my members asked if there was an easy way to flag or bookmark posts in a thread so he could quickly return to that post later without scrolling through the entire thread.

Another thought along this line would be a mod that adds a link to a post into a "Favorites or Bookmarked" list (similar to the subscribed Threads list) in either the UserCP or Profile by clicking on an icon in the postbit.

Any ideas?

You might want to try ZH - X This Thread. From what I understand it lets you social bookmark a post. That could let your users bookmark their posts on other websites.

There's also an older Submission buttons modification, does pretty much the same thing.

Thread Tools > Subscribe to this Post > no email notification? Then the threads are listed in his User CP.

I think that just keeps the thread bookmarked, Lynne. Not the individual post. Say like the thread is a question about how to do something, and on page 6 someone posts the correct answer. You'd want to be able to return to the specific post.
